JOB DETAILS:
Townsend Careers is currently seeking delegating and non delegating Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses to work in Baltimore City Public Schools.
•Perform skilled nursing services for children with special needs, e.g. blood glucose monitoring, including carbohydrate counting, insulin administration, tube feeding, nebulizer treatments, tracheotomy care, and special services as ordered by a medical health provider
•The nurses will serve as a resource person and consultant to the staff and student
•Provide basic health assessments of children, by using the nursing process
•Evaluate cumulative health data, develop and implement health care plans for individual students
•Coordinate the on-site provision of health care with other providers and participate in follow-up care
You must have a minimum of 1 year experience in the field. Full time and part-time hours are available.
